Dr Hessel Willemsen is a clinical psychologist and Jungian psychoanalyst with more than thirty years’ experience in clinical practice, assessment and consultation. Specialising in child, family and adult matters, he trained in the UK and the Netherlands and is registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Dr Willemsen provides psychotherapy and psychoanalysis for individuals seeking in-depth psychological support, as well as supervision for other clinicians and professionals. His approach is evidence-based, ethically grounded, and designed to withstand scrutiny in the most sensitive and high-stakes contexts.

His practice also includes evidence-based psychological assessment. He is frequently instructed as an expert witness before circuit judges and the High Court in London in complex family proceedings, where he provides impartial, clinically grounded input to assist the court in understanding psychological risk, child development, and family dynamics.
